Step by step procedure for student application in UUM

Wondering how to apply for an application at UUM? Here's a step by step procedure to serve as a guideline for you. 

International Enrolment and Payment Procedure

1. Admission Form
  • Application Form
  • Full photocopy of passport 
  • Academic certification / transcripts
  • Passport photo (White background, 45mm x 33mm) - 1 copy
  • Processing fee (RM2,250.00)
(Projected time: 10 working days)

2. Offer letter
  • EMGS Process Fee of RM3,000.00 to be paid
3. EMGS Registration
  • UUM Offer letter
  • Full photocopy of passport 
  • Academic certification / transcripts
  • Passport photo (White background, 45mm x 33mm) - 1 copy
  • Medical Health report
(Projected time: 20-30 working days)

4. Issuance of (VAL)/ Students Visa Endorsement Process
  • Proceed Process to U-Assist UUM, Kedah
5. Medical Check Up (UUM Sintok, Kedah)
  • Passport
  • Offer letter
  • Medical Processing Fee (RM250.00)
6. Medical Report Issuance

7. English Class Enrolment 
  • Payment of RM3,000
  • (Excluding Students with IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL)
8. Selected Course Payment
  • Masters: USD 13,000
  • PhD: USD 15,000
9. Issuance of Student Matrix Card

10. Commence English Class

Stages / Flow of Student Fees & Study in UUM

1. Marketing (Offer letter and Pre-offer letter)

2. Admission Fees (RM1,767.00)

3. EMGS and Visa Endorsement

4. Airport pick-up

5. Beginning of a semester fee (RM6,200.00) - Medical check up, class enrolment,
    academic modules, international student bond and consultancy fee. 

International Students' Bond

International students are required to pay students' bond during registration. The bond is refunded upon the completion of studies. The rate of students' bond is as below:-
